Quest’s Erwin R&D team is searching for a skilled QA Trainee to join their DIS Product division. As part of this role, you will contribute to the quality assurance of Erwin’s product portfolio by evaluating, understanding requirements, developing test cases, executing them, and even automating the process. By becoming a key member of Quest’s Erwin engineering team, you will play a vital role in developing Quest’s next generation of groundbreaking products.
💼 Responsibilities:
- Gain a thorough understanding of requirements and design documents.
- Prepare and execute meticulous test cases and scripts to ensure the software’s quality and success.
- Conduct various quality-control tests and analysis to meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Design and implement automation test scripts.
- Utilize SQL commands to manage and verify data.
- Effectively report bugs and manage defects.
- Coordinate test environment configurations and maintenance.
- Demonstrate creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
📚 Qualifications:
- Education Qualification: BTech/MTech (CSE or IT)
- Year of Graduation: 2020 or 2021
- Academic Performance: 70% and above
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience
🎯 Primary Skill Set:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of manual testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing (Selenium) or performance testing tool (Jmeter).
- Understanding of database concepts and ability to write basic queries.
- ISTQB certification (preferable).
