Are you a talented Software Developer with a passion for localization and internationalization? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge localization tools and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain localization tools and workflows, including translation memory systems, terminology databases, and machine translation engines.
- Prepare and process files for localization, such as software code, web pages, multimedia files, and documentation.
- Test and troubleshoot localized products to ensure linguistic, functional, and usability requirements are met for target markets.
- Collaborate with localization project managers and reviewers to ensure accurate, consistent, and culturally appropriate translated content.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and standards related to localization, translation, and internationalization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software localization or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of software development and localization tools and workflows, including translation memory systems, terminology management tools, and machine translation engines.
- Work experience with desktop publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Publisher, or Scribus.
- Familiarity with programming languages and software development frameworks, such as Java, Python, .NET, or C#.
